澳大利亚留学网前线战报，根据MONASH大学内部最新消息，从2008年7月起，澳大利亚留学生签证申请人上调20澳元为450澳元。不过好消息是，这个签证将自动包括了学生打工签证，留学生无需另外去申请打工许可(Work permit).

根据目前的移民法，留学生需要另外交80澳元申请打工许可。如此来算，大家还是节省了60澳元，应该说是个好消息！

From mid-2008 Student visas will include permission to work。 Students will no longer have to apply for a Permission to Work (PTW) visa if they wish to work in Australia while studying. From the second-half of 2008, all student visas will include new guidelines which permit students to work casual or part-time. However, student visa costs will increase by A$20. This is still a A$60 saving, given that separate PTW applications currently cost A$80.
