Course description:
Planners assist government, private organisations, groups, and individuals in the community to achieve their future objectives, through developing relevant projects, policies, processes, and plans. The units in Urban and Regional Planning are recognised by the Royal Australian Planning Institute. Master’s graduates are eligible, subject to the professional experience requirements, for corporate membership of that body.
Who should do this course?
Graduates in economics, geography, archaeology, architecture, engineering, arts, science.
Course structure:
students are able to take additional core subjects in Urban Design, Heritage Conservation or Housing Studies
Course length full-time: 1.5 years Course length part-time: 3 years
Entry requirements:
Bachelor's degree.
